YG shared a new song called “FTP” which stands for “Fuck the Police”. The track is released under nationwide protests against the murder of George Floyd. Listen to “FTP” below.
YG has released politically charged songs in the past. In 2016 he and Nipsey Hussle released the hymn “FDT” with the repeated refrain “fuck Donald Trump”.
Several artists released protest songs after George Floyd’s death, including Dua Saleh, LL Cool J, Griselda’s Conway the Machine, and Terrace Martin.
