Bhangarh Fort – Rajasthan, India

HelloTravel.com

Supposedly one of the most visited places in the world, let alone India. Bhangarh Fort was built by King Sawai Madho Singh in the early 17th century to protect the city and the royal palace. Legend has it that a wizard fell in love with the king's daughter and when trying to seduce her, he died (not ideally) and cursed the city to destroy her. Coincidentally, the city was captured and destroyed by an army shortly after his death. TYPICAL.

Locals do not live near the fortress, after dark it is forbidden for people to visit them because of ghosts, and houses in the nearby village have no roofs because people fear that they may collapse. STRANGE. Do you fancy a night?

Looks really scary, doesn't it? This creepy building was a Singapore hospital in the 1930s. However, it was confiscated by the Japanese during World War II and became a torture facility for the Japanese secret police. A lot of strange things have been seen here, including ghosts of old patients and bloody Japanese soldiers who roam the corridors and old medical centers at night. Creepy.
