Just hours after Mackenzie McKee lost her mother Angie Douthit to cancer, the star of "Teen Mom OG" shared an emotional honorary post with the person who had held [her] together.
Mackenzie McKee 25, her emotions poured into a moving tribute shortly after her mother Angie Douthit died on December 10 after a long battle with brain tumor. Mom's mother Star was only 50 years old and Mackenzie went to Instagram to show how she feels after such a tragedy. Mackenzie shared a throwback photo of her mother crossing the finishing line of a race in a tutu and wrote: "Momma @angiedouthit has crossed the finish line. She did not lose the battle, she did not lose one. She is healed and runs in heaven forever. I want everyone who has left the earth with such an impact, all your life you have never taken the chance to let the world know about the love of God. "
Mackenzie continued to rave about her mother's strong belief in God before turning to her own mother-daughter relationship. "Mom, I did not deserve you. But you loved me so unconditionally. You were the glue that held me together. The one who always believed in me, "Mackenzie wrote. The loss is so painful for the MTV star that she can not imagine living too long without her mother at her side. "Idk, what I'm going to do without you, but I hope that's over quickly so I can hurry up and be with you," she confessed in Tuesday's post.
The mother of four children showed a photograph of her family on the tribute post on which Mackenzie with her husband Josh McKee and her daughter Jaxie 5, and son Gannon 8, on a staircase before a Christmas concert. Angie had been looking forward to the event and so little Jaxie honored her grandmother in the most sentimental way. "Mom was so excited to see the children in their Christmas program. It was a long, exhausting week, but we made it to the concert somehow and Jaxie was so happy to wear one of her chemohats. Her favorite, "wrote Mackenzie under the sweet Instagram post on December 10th.
