Whether it's a performance at sunrise, sunset or on the main stage, Yheti is perhaps one of them best suited to harmonize the mood of its audience and its environment. On Friday, the Ohio-born producer released a solo LP with 11 tracks, The Party Has Changed.

Yheti (real name) Tyler Holler has been an integral part of the bass music scene for over a decade. With the spread of alternative bass in recent years, it has become one of the biggest names. The new album debuts almost exactly a year after its EP, Deformed, and much like the opener in this project, this LP starts with a thematic, slower intro accented by sweeping synths and snare kicks – or "3 hits" the opener culminates in a barrage and leads the listener to "A Little Bit Goes A Long Way", a song that captures hype with its howling siren backing.

If those were the first two tracks The listener who gracefully falls down the rabbit hole, "Signals From Above", is this journey that crashes to the ground abruptly – but in a good way and Wise. The track introduces a Neurostep bass print reminiscent of the Zebbler Encanti Experience and a sound that feels directly influenced by the modern bass.

"I'm really excited about all the music that I listen to at festivals, on the internet and in my head," said Holler, who contacted trendzhq a few days before the release. "Musically, I want to create a collage of all the elements of contemporary electronic music that have a positive impact on my reality, in balance with what I feel in a similar way for others."

The simplistic undertones and deep bass rhythms for which Yheti is known are intact here; Most of The Party Has Changed mostly sits in a slower range of 70 to 80 beats per minute. Distorted melodies and explosive, fast-paced wobbles can also be heard on this LP (as in "Yo" and "Life").

"& # 39; Life" is supposed to represent the feeling of melancholy when thinking a complex life lived, "said Holler. "Every relationship, no matter how beautiful it is, is interspersed with dissonance. But it is the dissonance that enhances the contrast and makes the beauty come alive."

With this new project, Yheti maintains its distinctive sound and at the same time delivers fresh, far-reaching melodies for the coming festival season.
