Brad Pitt 56, won his very first Oscar last week and his six children couldn't have been prouder! In one of the sweeter moments of his speech, Brad mentioned the kids and they loved it! "They thought it was great that he was yelling at them, it was a sweet moment for everyone," the insider continued. “The older they get, the more they appreciate their parents' incredible talents. They know that they are blessed and happy to have Brad as their father. But at the end of the day, they're still kids and he's still just the father of them, not Brad Pitt, the Oscar winner, they definitely keep his feet on the floor. "
Brad took the coveted trophy in the Best Supporting Actor category for his role as Stunt Double Cliff Booth in Quentin Tarantino Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood. The victory came after he also took home trophies from the SAGs – where he reunited with his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston – the BAFTAs and the Golden Globes! “[This] is for my children who color everything I do. I adore you, ”Brad said on stage at the Dolby Theater when he held the price up – how cute. Plans to celebrate the great Oscar win with his children are not a priority. "When Brad is with his children, his mind is on them, not on himself and not on his career," added the source. "He focuses exclusively on them and connects with them wherever they are. I would be surprised if he actually had an Oscar party with them, that's not really his style."
Brad has not been photographed with his children for a while and apparently has had some tension recently with his eldest son Maddox. The 18-year-old moved to South Korea in September to study biochemistry at the renowned Yonsei University. While Mother Angelina was available for the big drop, Brad was nowhere to be seen. The actor is said to have skipped the BAFTAs to speak to his estranged son in early February. Maddox broke his silence to a paparazzi photographer in September 2019 and found that he didn't know when and if Brad would be visiting and "Whatever happens, happens".
