As a 34-year-old, I would be lying if I said that I didn't often think about dressing a bit more youthfully … especially in winter. The voluminous layers and dark colors that are so common at this time of year tend to age quite a bit. When I was living in Los Angeles (from 2009 to 2015) I didn't have to think much about this topic, but now that I'm a little older and live in North Carolina, where it's surprisingly freezing, I had a skill to develop that prevents my winter wardrobe from accidentally aging me.
