Dwayne Johnson Gushes Over His Daughter’s Upcoming WWE Debut

Simone Johnson is the latest in a long line of wrestlers entering the ring.

And her father Dwayne Johnson couldn’t be more enthusiastic She joins the family business. Last night, the wrestler, formerly known as The Rock, joined the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and held conferences from his home in Georgia.

“Incidentally, I would like to congratulate your daughter Simone, who will be in the WWE now!” Jimmy Fallon has started.

“She signed her contract with the WWE, it’s just amazing,” said 48-year-old Johnson. “First of all, I mean what an honor my daughter would like to follow in my footsteps.”

He continued in proud father mode: “But what’s more important – following in my footsteps sounds clichéd – but you really want to go your own way, which is just so important. By the way, she was the youngest Signatory in the history of the company. ”

Johnson then explained that his now 18-year-old daughter started training at the age of 16.

“She scraped her ass off,” he said. “Quietly, under the radar, in the ring, thrown around and all the bumps and bruises that come with pro-wrestling. And it hung in there, I’m very, very proud of it.”

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson debuted in 1996 in the WWE as Rocky Maivia. That night commentators on the ring declared his presence to be the first third-generation superstar ever.

His father, who wrestled as Rocky Johnson together with his grandfather Peter Maivia ] are considered legends in the world of professional wrestling.
