Apple recently launched its new Pro Display XDR for sale. This is clearly not a casual user monitor because it is definitely out of reach for the vast majority of customers who may not feel the need or spend so much at a price of $ 5,000.
However, if you want to buy the Pro Display XDR, you should be aware of this because the company has fairly warned users in a support document published on the Apple website that the display can only be cleaned up the polishing cloth supplied with the monitor.
The support document states: "Use only the dry polishing cloth supplied with the display to wipe dust or dirt off the screen. Do not add water or use other liquids to clean the nano-texture glass. They also warn against "never using other cloths" to clean the nano-texture glass, and if you lose the polishing cloth, you'll do it. You'll need to contact Apple for a replacement (although we do not know how much this will cost).
So, if you are planning on buying the Pro Display XDR worth $ 5,000, you should not forget this in the end, if you scratch or damage the display, which, guessing, is not cheap, to get a replacement.
